Developed over 20 months with a leading UK university, this innovative product addresses the challenge of securely fixing heavy items to dry lined walls.

Gone are the days of traditional plastering. Today's dry lining with plasterboard or fibre board, while cost-effective and convenient, presents difficulties when attaching heavy modern items like plasma screens and designer radiators.

The question arises: how does one anchor heavy objects like plasma TVs, kitchen units, or air conditioning units to a wall that is essentially a cavity behind a decorative plasterboard surface? The answer lies in Rigifix. Its engineered inner sleeve redistributes the load from the decorative board to the masonry or blockwork wall, ensuring the plasterboard remains an unstressed, finished surface. Rigifix is capable of supporting items weighing up to 500kg.

For installation, simply drill a hole to the specified diameter and depth, insert the plastic Rigifix expansion plug, and use an allen key to screw in the threaded sleeve until it is fully seated or level with the plug head. Then, pass the pozi headed set screw through your bracket or item and tighten it into the Rigifix sleeve.
